Harvest 2026

Ca' Lustra Diary
22.10.2026

The 2026 harvest in the Euganean Hills was one of the hottest and most demanding on record. Starting as early as 10 August, it required careful planning in the vineyard, with work concentrated in the cooler morning hours to ensure the best possible working conditions for everyone.

Our careful preparation paid off: we harvested healthy grapes, with good quality and yields. Our decision to focus on mid- to late-ripening, lower-sugar grape varieties proved successful, Pinella above all. Some varieties performed beyond expectations, including Tai Bianco, Carmenere and, of course, Pinella.

The outlook is encouraging, but, as always, time will be needed to properly assess the vintage from an oenological perspective.

What made this harvest special? The extreme weather conditions finally gave us the opportunity to produce a truly serious late-harvest Moscato Bianco.
