Rosato Veneto IGT
From the encounter between Merlot and Cabernet comes our Rosato Veneto IGT. The vines live in a sunny land where broom, olive trees and aromatic plants grow. Vinified in rosé, these grapes give us a wine with a rich and lively colour, with fragrant nuances of dried flowers, crisp white fruits and aromatic herbs. The balance between freshness and savouriness is tantalizing, making the sip taut and always interesting.

The history of our Rosato
Merlot and Cabernet, vines originating in France, spread to the Euganean Hills in the second half of the 1800s. Thanks to a good ability to adapt, they now make up a large part of the red berry cultivation. Merlot expresses itself with fruity nuances and gentle tannin, Cabernet stands out for its herbaceous notes and vigorous tannin.
Given the concentration of our red wines, was it possible to create a lighter wine? We took up this challenge with curiosity, from which our Rosato was born in the late 2000s. A long-lived wine with an excellent structure obtained through a few hours of maceration. The delicate, fruity aromas in its youth, which evolve into warmer notes, invite you to discover our Rosato even years later.

Pairings
The fullness of our Rosato Veneto IGT allows it to range from a meat tartare to a plate of spaghetti with butter and anchovies, favouring dishes with a savoury or spicy tendency. We recommend uncorking a couple of hours earlier and serving at 12-14°C.
