Le Cerese - Merlot Veneto IGT
Le Cerese Merlot Veneto IGT originates where volcanic and sedimentary rocks have disintegrated to form lean, deep soils. We grow a Merlot that guarantees moderate but constant yields, resulting in a wine with a dry and solid body. Distinctly fruity with notes of cherry and morello cherry, Le Cerese tells in the glass the characteristics of the terroir in which it is cultivated, surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees.

Sensorial analysis
The Merlot Le Cerese 2022 is a red wine with a bright ruby color and purplish hues, showing good consistency in the glass. On the nose, it reveals aromas of cherry, berry jam and fresh plums. The finish offers notes of black pepper and ripe apricot. On the palate, it is dry, delicately tannic, savory and juicy. Moderately persistent, it invites another sip.

Pairings
Thanks to its slim body and freshness, Le Cerese is a pleasant accompaniment to baked pasta and roasts. But also medium-aged cheeses or a simple salami sandwich. We recommend serving between 16 and 18°C.
