Grapes from volcanic, clayey and calcareous soils give rise to a fruity and floral red, fresh and balanced. The tannin is gentle. Ideal for drinking in its young years, excellent for everyday cooking.

Sensorial analysis
Our Rosso is a red wine that finds its balance in the combination of the fruitiness of Merlot and the more herbaceous and spicy notes of Cabernet and Carménère. The sip is juicy, the tannin not accentuated and the finale is fresh and savoury.
History of Colli Euganei Rosso
Merlot and Cabernet arrived in the Euganean Hills in the second half of the 1800s and immediately found an ideal home. In 1969 the union of these grapes was awarded DOC status, making Colli Euganei Rosso the oldest DOC in our area along with Bianco and Moscato.
The great wealth of soils and micro-climates of the Euganean Hills makes it possible to obtain with Merlot and Cabernet both fresh and light wines and more important, austere wines suitable for long ageing.
