Vineyard Merlot Cinto Alto

The Merlot vineyard in Podere Cinto Alto demands all our patience: we waited about twenty years for the vines to reach the maturity required to produce a Reserve. The site is beautiful and panoramic, yet arid, and we must contend with unpredictable yields. While abundant rain may allow us to reach 60-70 q/ha, drought can lead to no harvest at all. Despite this uncertainty, the exposure and constant ventilation ensure a natural concentration of the grapes, making our few thousand bottles a rare achievement—expressing dense tannins and a longevity that only time can refine.
