Garganega IGT Veneto
A grey marn stripe, traditionally called “tère bianche” (literally “white lands”), cut the Faedo Valley in half. Not easy to cultivate, it lacks in dry years and it is too abundant in wet ones, ideal for the vigor of Garganega.
“Boschetto” (“grove”) is the historical name of the wide terraces facing east, composed by vineyards and orchards, which give life to this intense and lightly tannic white wine.
On gray marl located in the Faedo Valley, East exposed.
Spontaneous fermentation. It macerates on the skins in stainless steel tanks for 12 days and finally rests in large oak barrels for about one year.
Service and pairing
To be served at about 14°C. Perfect for aging from 2 to 6 years by the bottling. It is a lightly tannic white wine, with pleasant warm shades of ripe yellow flowers and dried fruit notes. It can be easily paired with mature cheese, ethnic preparations, white meat and spicy food.
