Open Cellars for Christmas
An intense tasting weekend
December 8-9th, 2018

It is the last event of the year at Ca’ Lustra. Harvest season is over, new wine fermentation and transfers are ending, Christmas is coming. It is a special occasion for us: our new welcome room will be finally unveiled after the complex renovation which took place by the ex-hayloft area.
Here we go with another excellent reason to open a few vintage Magnum bottles and resume the tastings so appreciated by our guest friends. Main theme of this celebratory event is going to be Dry Moscato Wine.
We are ranging from Sicily to Alto Adige, passing by France and arriving to our beloved Euganean Hills, thanks to ten wines made by the four most well known varieties of Moscato grapes: White Moscato, Petit Grain, Yellow Moscato and Zibibbo.

Here the schedule:

During the entire weekend, by the shop inside the winery, tastings of our wines will be freely available.
Crostini, cold cuts and cheese to go with wines will be available too (paid serving).

SATURDAY 8th DECEMBER

> Opening time: 8:30 – 18:30.
> Free tasting of Ca’ Lustra – Zanovello and Terre Siciliane wines by the shop.
> Chance to taste crostini, cold cuts and cheese (till 4 pm, paid serving).
> Chance to visit the cellar lead by a guide at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
> From 3pm to 6pm: vintage Magnum bottles tastings by the new welcome room.
Both white and red wines are going to be the tasting starring, lead by Franco Zanovello.
At least 7 kinds of wine will be available to taste:
 Olivetani 2014 – ‘A Cengia 2014 – Pedevenda 2014 – Sassonero 2008 – Girapoggio 2008 – Natìo 2009
…and Vittoria Aganoor 2008! Yes, you read well, it is probably going to be the last chance to taste Vittoria Aganoor 2008.

SUNDAY 9th DECEMBER

> At 4:45 pm guided Dry Moscato tastings. Four grape varieties for ten wines, to represent the wide world of Moscato (over 70 registered varieties): White MoscatoPetit GrainYellow MoscatoZibibbo.
Only a few wines are capable to keep their original terroir so clearly and resolutely as these Moscato wines do, acting like an evidence of the complex migration process which took place in the course of history by many geographical areas, combining both people and grape varieties movement.
